Hi, I'm Thomas, a brand strategist searching for creativity, ideas, and cocktails.
My path to advertising begins on the New York City subway. On my commutes, I'd kill time by ranking the ads. Eventually, I grew tired of working unpaid as an amateur ad critic and enrolled in the VCU Brandcenter. It's been working out so far.
Previously, I was a writer for publications like Maxim, V Magazine, and L'Officiel USA, where I covered entertainment, culture, and men's fashion. I spent a lot of time researching expensive things nobody could afford. Except maybe Kanye.
Now, I'm content studying what people actually buy. I get to learn about people from all walks of life and devise new ways brands can connect with them. It keeps me grounded—and inspired.
When I'm not furiously scribbling on a whiteboard, I'm watching disturbing art-house movies, searching for the perfect cocktail bar, and exploring new ways to maintain my sanity. The last-mentioned usually leads me back to cocktails.
